Lab Description
In this lab course, students can collect practical hands-on experience with deep learning.
The lab takes the form of weekly meetings throughout the semester at a fixed time slot (Friday, 14:00). After the first initial slots with a few recap lectures about the most important topics and some practical exercises, participants will form teams of 3--4 students and each team will have to come up with a deep learning related topic of their choice. In the remainder of the weekly slots, some of the teams will present a brief status report according to a rotating schedule and there will be time for some discussions of problems and how to best proceed with the projects. At the end of the semester, we will have a presentation day, where each team presents their project results and takeaways. Finally, each team will submit an 8-page project report summarizing their work.
